This is our core competancy - planning and leading mission trips. All aspects of the mission tripped are planned - travel, housing, work assignments, registration, nightlife, cirriculum, music, worship, meals, and more. The success of a mission trip is determined by how well the plan is put together and executed. Join the Mission Trip Planning Team and you can help us plan the next round of mission trips - both in the U.S. and Internationally. We are looking for any and all skillsets.
LutheranHANDS would not be possible without the generious support of the public. Our Fundraising group is instrumental in educating potential donors about LutheranHANDS and to close the donation. We are looking for individuals to plan events like concerts, dinners, coffee houses, 5ks', and more; to apply for grants and corporate philanthropy; to sign corporate partners; and more. Join the Fundraising team and help LutheranHANDS grow!
We want to operate everywhere but we have to get our name out there first. Our Outreach department is educating people about LutheranHANDS at events like youth leader conferences, synod youth retreats, synod assemblies, trade shows, and other conferences. They are developing marketing materials including videos, brochures, poosters, presentations, and much more. Join the Outreach team and tell the world about LutheranHANDS!
The internet represents the fastest and easiest way to get information about LutheranHANDS to a large audience. We are looking for creative individuals who can maximize the impact of our website and reach of social media. These individuals are highly motivated, creative, and like to have fun through their work. The sky is the limit with this group. Join the Communications team and help us reach millions!
LutheranHANDS is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. With this distinction, comes the responsbility of maintaining our records and effectively managing our finances so as to maximize every dollar spent on our mission. The finance team is the backbone of everything we do. They prepare budgets, procure goods and services, track expenses, manage P/L, and compile our tax filings. Join the Finance team and help LutheranHANDS maximize its mission!
The best way to educate people as to what LutheranHANDS does is to show them. The communications team is constantly putting together slideshows and videos to recap our mission trips and show people the good we bring to communities. If you are creative, motivated, and know your way around video and photo editing programs, we want you! The thousands of photos and raw video hours captured on mission trips are waiting for you to mold into something beauutiful!
